A Weirton house ordered razed because of the danger of its collapse over a nearby hillside has been demolished.
The property at 209 Culler Road was among several discussed Wednesday by the city’s Building Enforcement Agency.
The city’s inspections department received an initial complaint on the property on March 7, stating it had begun to slide down the hillside to its rear
Code Official Matt Burskey reported the house, owned by James Rood, had been torn down with asbestos taken to a waste center in Imperial, PA.
