Before you hit the polls today, remember to bring ID.
For the first time ever, voters across West Virginia will be required by law to prove their identity before voting.
Officials passed the Voter I-D law back in 2016 with the purpose of increasing the security and safety of votes.
Anything with your name on it, with or without a photo, will suffice.
This includes your driver’s license and a bank statement issued within the past six months.
Even your hunting and fishing license will work.
