A Belmont County couple was indicted last week on charges of deception to obtain dangerous drugs.
Ryan and Ashley Padgett appeared before Judge John Vavra.
They both entered not guilty pleas.
Ashley is a former employee of Dr. Rodney Curtis, who was recently found guilty of drug trafficking.
Ashley has been under investigation for allegedly writing prescriptions on Dr. Curtis’ prescription pads, as she was a former employee of his and ex-lover turned informant.
The couple is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on June 11.
