One person has died following a single vehicle crash in Harrison County Tuesday night. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Richard M Mansfield, of Freeport, Ohio, was traveling north bound on State Route 800 near Freeport, driving a 2004 Ford Focus.
The Ford Focus traveled off the west edge of the roadway striking a tree. Mansfield was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harrison County Coroner’s Office.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Freeport and Washington Township Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
