The Belmont County Health Department is looking to put a levy on the fall ballot.
The proposed levy would bring in extra revenue for the department to put towards things like day to day operations, disease screenings, nursing, and accreditation.
Belmont County Deputy Health Commissioner Robert Sproul has expressed the necessity of the potential levy.

Sproul will soon speak with the Belmont County Auditor’s office to decide on the potential levy amount.
