The Belmont County Tourism Council has seen a rise in phone calls, office visits, online visits, and social media inquiries about Belmont County in the second quarter of 2018.

The Oil and Gas Expo, The Sheriff’s Residence Museum, local fairs and festivals, and the annual Route 40 yard sale are just some of the events that led to a rise in tourism.

Belmont County Tourism Council Executive Director Barbara Ballint is pleased to see the direction that Belmont County is headed.

The Council will continue to promote the fairs and festivals and highlight local attractions during the second half of the year.
