An investigation that began on July 2 has resulted in the arrest of six people last night in connection with an ATV theft ring. Police officials said the suspects were stealing these ATV units, swapping out parts and taking them on joyrides.

It all started from a tip by The Ohio Highway Patrol and was helped by The Toronto Police, Saline Township Police Department, Jefferson County Drug Task Force and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department

The suspects arrested are as follows:

38-year old Marcus Hale, 19-year-old Jon Patterson, 18-year-old Paul Porter, all of Toronto.

18-year-old Dakota Goff of Richmond, 21-year-old Cody Hoover of Stratton, and a 16-year-old male of Empire.
