Authorities in Belmont County have arrested two people after conducting a search warrant on South 3rd Street in Martins Ferry on Friday.

According to Martins Ferry Police Chief John McFarland, narcotics officers conducted the warrant after multiple controlled buys from the building.

Authorities arrested 43-year-old James Humphreys of Cleveland, 44-year-old Amanda Cruse, who’s apartment was being used to traffic the drugs, for drug trafficking and possession.

22-year-old Sharon Walker from Cleveland was also present at the time of the raid. He was charged with complicity to drug trafficking.

Authorities also seized 22.07 grams of heroin and 4.28 grams of crack cocaine.
