Residents living in the city of Chester are on a boil order until further notice.
The water department is working to repair a chlorine line break, as well as a water line break that happened simultaneously. Officials say the water and sewage department is getting a $1.4 million upgrade, with work set to begin on that project tomorrow.
Changes began earlier this summer to replace the oldest parts of the lines, with some parts being more than 100 years old. The 3-phase project is expected to be finished by November.
