Four people who were indicted following a drug raid in June that turned up cash drugs, and guns in Steubenville appeared in court on Wednesday.

According to the Jefferson County Drug Task Force, six guns, including one that was stolen, were confiscated during the raid on Claire Avenue.

Investigators said a small amount of drugs was found, but the bigger concern was the guns in the possession of some convicted criminals.

More than $12,000 was collected, and five people were arrested: Lester Jordan, John Sharp, Jr., Elise Watts, Hakeem Herbert, and Richard Darnell Wilson.

All are facing multiple counts of trafficking in drugs and receiving stolen property.

Wilson is facing the highest bond of the four defendants — $500,000. During the raid, Wilson attempted to run from police. He was bitten by a K-9 after being told to stop, and was later taken to a Pittsburgh hospital.
