Thousands of dollars in projects have been lost after a burglary at Nelson Fine Art & Gifts and Catholic to the Max in downtown Steubenville.
On Wednesday morning, owner of the building and CEO of the companies Mark Nelson found copper piping had been cut out of a second-floor supply closet.
The open water line left about 2 inches of standing water in the second floor of the building, where gifts and art are made.
The water dripped down onto the first floor where the printing department and showroom are located.
Staff and police believe the suspect broke into the building through a skylight.
If you have any information about this burglary, you’re asked to call the Steubenville police.
