Steubenville council heard last night that the Ohio EPA is threatening to intervene in its water line issues.

Members learned they are threatening court or other action if a financial plan is not in place soon. Utility Director Chuck Murphy said the deadline for council to act is Oct. 31. The final committee hearing on the issue is next Tuesday at 6:30.
