A Bellaire man facing drug charges appeared in Belmont County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday morning.

Dermiel Mills pleaded guilty to a drug possession charge related to a traffic stop that took place earlier this year.

Dermiel, also known as Buster, admitted to drug possession, a second-degree felony.

Mills, along with Scott Beveridge, were arrested by the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office after a traffic stop on Interstate 70 on July 10. Chief Deputy James Zusack said 180 grams of cocaine was inside.

Mills will be sentenced Oct. 22.
