The village that serves as the seat of Harrison County is looking for a new administrator.

Cadiz Village Administrator Charley Bowman announced he is retiring Dec. 31. He said the village has received two applications to take his position.

Cadiz councilman Mike McPeak said the main duties are working day-to-day operations with the mayor, village clerk, with council and all the department heads.

Basic budgeting and municipal management experience is required as the village is in the middle of infrastructure upgrades.

No word on the candidates who have submitted their applications.
