The Brooke County Mobile Command Center has been broken into and vandalized.
The van was being worked on at a vendor in Steubenville when the incident occurred.
According to EMA Director Bob Fowler, the generators, computers, and other equipment were stolen, and the security system was ripped out, totaling several thousand dollars’ worth of damage.
Fowler says the van is essential to the county because it acts as its backup 911 vehicle.
