Two people were arrested in a drug bust in Richland Township, including a Cleveland man who is no stranger to law enforcement.

The Belmont County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a home on Willow Grove Road, seizing 7 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and more than $1,000 in cash.

George Thompson, 30, and 20-year-old Lawanda Wills were taken into custody.

Thompson was on active parole — the third time he has been arrested here in the last four years.

He faces five charges including drug trafficking.

Wills had an active arrest warrant out of Cuyahoga County. She faces two charges, including complicity to trafficking in drugs.
