The former superintendent in Marshall County, Jeffery Crook, was hired by the Brooke Board of Education as interim superintendent yesterday.
Toni Shute, the former Brooke County superintendent, resigned from her position less than two weeks ago.
Crook resigned on Friday in Marshall County after the board decided not to renew his contract.
He has now signed on to serve as interim superintendent in Brooke County through the end of June.
He says his first priority is to get the levy passed. He says that the levy is vital to help with staff salaries and programs for the kids.
