Several law enforcement agencies were on scene at Jefferson County’s Friendship Park yesterday afternoon, as the search continues for a Belmont County couple that has been missing for over 9 months.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla, word-of-mouth brought officers to the park in hopes of finding Brian Goff and Joni Davis. The sheriff’s department was joined by boats, divers, and members of the FBI.

Several agencies have been searching tirelessly for Goff and Davis, who were last seen in June leaving a Pizza Hut in St. Clairsville.

Both the Jefferson and Belmont County Sheriff’s Departments have been following up on any tips they’ve received, and that’s what led them to the park.

Different technology and techniques were used to search the lake, but only a hollow barrel was located.

Abdalla asked if anyone knows any information regarding Brian Goff and Joni Davis to come forward.
