Emergency crews responded to a 2-car accident at the intersection of County Road 111 and State Route 150 just outside of Rayland.
A driver traveling eastbound from Dillonvale crossed the centerline, striking a vehicle traveling westbound at approximately 9:45 p.m. last night.
The driver of the SUV, a female in her mid-20s, was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. The passenger in the vehicle was taken to Wheeling Hospital for further evaluation.
A male driver of the Honda sedan that was stuck traveling westbound was also taken to Wheeling Hospital with serious injuries.
Ohio State Highway Patrol officers at the scene say the driver of the SUV will face several citations, including failure to wear a seatbelt. The accident remains under investigation.
