St Clairsville Council met with the Ohio EPA to talk about the city’s water.

Four representatives from the Ohio EPA attended the meeting, which took place under executive session.

The EPA issued a notice to the city in September, stating that the city’s water plant was in violation of state code. The EPA tells News9 that it will be up to the city as to whether they choose to repair the current system or privatize it.

Council meets next on Monday October 21st, at 7:30 p.m.
