Wednesday, the president visited Pittsburgh at the Shale Insight Conference where he spoke with supporters and outlined his desires for the future of U.S. energy and hit on some other, familiar themes.

The president started out of the gate touting America’s energy prowess, calling the country the greatest energy superpower in the world.

He denounced proposals to limit the use of fossil fuels and what he called the “assault” on energy independence through regulations.

Citing his recent visit to Beaver County’s Shell Ethane Cracker Plant, President Trump spoke about the long talked-about cracker plant proposal in Belmont County.
