After nearly an hour of deliberation, a jury has found Christianson Hill, of Wheeling, guilty of raping a minor.

Hill’s sentencing will take place November 8th.

Hill, of Wheeling, testified in Judge Frank Fregiato’s courtroom as the alleged crime was believed to be committed in Bellaire in 2017.

The victim told the court the crime had been going on for a 2 to 3 year period and that Hill had threatened to kill her family and her pets if she told anyone.

Hill was sentenced to life in prison in 2018, but he recently won an appeal to have his plea dropped.

According to the 7th District Court of Appeals, Hill’s plea was not knowingly or intelligently entered, therefore his conviction and sentence were withdrawn.
