The ongoing controversy surrounding the sale of St. Clairsville’s water will now have to wait until after Election Day.
Council tabled the Aqua Ohio ordinances last night, due to not having a full council.
Perry Basile was absent from the meeting. It was said he was severely ill. Meanwhile Jim Velas’s seat was vacant due to him being promoted to council president.
Council voted 3-2 in favor of the ordinances but needed four to pass. These ordinances will be voted on at either the next council meeting, or a special meeting in the future.
