A Wheeling man is in jail after leading police on a car and foot chase and allegedly trying to grab an officer’s gun.
Wheeling police were dispatched to domestic incident, and when they arrived, DeSean Moses took off in his car, leading police on a chase before getting out of the car and running away.
After he was arrested, officers said he began to throw his body against the cruiser cage and kick the protective panels.
An officer pulled him from the car to secure him on the ground. Police say that was when Moses reached for the officer’s side arm.
He was arraigned on $20,000 bond.
