Emergency crews responded to a trailer fire near Cameron on Tuesday morning. It happened at 5510 Dragon Highway, south of Cameron.

Cameron assistant Fire Chief Brian Marling said the fire was most likely caused by a burner in the living room, and that the trailer was completely engulfed when they arrived on scene.

The fire also caused parts of Dragon Highway to be closed for about 2 hours.  Nobody was seriously injured, and all members of the family were able to get out safely.

Also, OR and W Fire District responded to a mobile home fire at the Dilles Bottom Trailer Park a little before 9 p.m.

According to Assistant Fire Chief, John Shaver, the trailer was a total loss and mobile homes surrounding the residence sustained heat damage.

Authorities reported no injuries during the incident.
