Nearly a month after Election Day with the votes now officials, the citizens of East Liverpool have spoken — they do not want traffic cameras.

The board of elections says they received a judgment summary from Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Washam, and in that summary was the dissolution of the temporary restraining orders that previously kept the board of elections from releasing the results.

In the end, 1,560 votes were in favor of ending the cameras. There were 640 voters who wanted to keep the issue on the ballot.
