One man was rushed to the hospital following a house fire in Marshall County Wednesday afternoon.
It happened on Curtis Avenue in Moundsville.
Fire officials at the scene say they received a call of a wood burner fire that got out of control.
When they arrived on scene it was a fully engulfed house.
Investigators say that the man was taken to a nearby hospital with burn injuries.
There was severe fire damage to all three floors of the home.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, however, investigators say near hoarding conditions could have played a factor. The fire remains under investigation.
