Around 6 PM Wednesday evening, a residential property became engulfed with fire on South Moss Run Road in Bellaire, OH.

Firefighters were on scene for several hours working to extinguish the flames.

The two-story residential home went up in flames after an eyewitness said that the residents were starting a fire in a wood-burner. The wood-burner was in a breezeway that connected the house to the garage.

Both structures caught fire, the house and garage, with part of the garage collapsing. Firefighters had difficulty getting water to the scene due to the proximity of the nearest hydrant to the house.

No one was reported injured.
