Three people are behind bars in Monroe County after they were arrested during a drug raid just after 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Sheriff’s detectives, K-9 officers, and the Woodsfield Police Department all worked together to serve the warrant which yielded meth, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia.

Police say Gordon Swartz was arrested for being a fugitive on a felony warrant and will also face numerous drug charges including attempted escape, carrying a concealed weapon and vehicular vandalism.

Thomas Swartz was arrested on several charges, including possession of meth and endangering children.

And, Cherly Swartz was also arrested and is facing several drug charges. All three remain behind bars at the Monroe County Jail.
