A Belmont County Grand Jury handed down indictments against several people, including John Garwon, who faces 10 new charges of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance, and he faces 10 years in prison for those charges.

Those will be added to charges he’s already facing — rape and pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor. In total, he’s facing a dozen charges. He entered a not-guilty plea to the new charges.

Garwon was arrested by the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office after receiving a tip that Garwon had been downloading and sharing child pornography on the internet.

In October 2018, Garwon was arrested at a Flushing home where he lived with Wesley Burdge, Tabitha Gallagher and their two children.

Burdge is serving a 16-year sentence for sharing child pornography online, while Gallagher is serving an 18-month sentence for attempted obstructing justice. She and Burdge fled with their two children, prompting a nationwide search last year. Now, Garwon is preparing for trial with his bond set at $250,000.
