A Brooke County woman entered a guilty plea in connection with a deadly January 2019 crash.

Kristy Jo Jones admitted her guilt on Friday in Brooke County Court for the head-on collision that killed Hubert Logue of Weirton.

In front of Judge Ronald Wilson, Jones entered guilty pleas to charges of driving in an impaired state and causing a death and injury. A passenger in Logue’s car was injured.

Jones faces a possible 3 to 15-year sentence and a fine between $1,000 and $3,000.

She is currently free and awaits sentencing on April 23.
