At the Ohio County Schools Board of Education meeting last night, several parents spoke out against a bus driver who they say allegedly put their children in harm’s way.
Those parents took their frustrations to the school board last with the hopes of getting answers.
Parents complained to the school board of special needs kids being let off the school bus without a parent or guardian to receive them, bus driver missing stops, and other incidents where kids left the bus in unsupervised incidents.
Ohio County Schools Superintendent Kimberly Miller proposed to the board that no form of discipline be taken at the current time so that they can continue to collect more information.
In the meantime, the bus driver in question will continue on their regular route until further notice.
