Harrison County commissioners entered into an agreement with One Ohio on Thursday to reach a resolution of the current opioid litigation against pharmaceutical companies and other supply chain participants.

The ultimate goal is to abate the opioid epidemic throughout Ohio while recovering funds for local governments.

If One Ohio’s strategy works, it could become a template for the rest of the country in the battle against the opioid epidemic.
