Orin Holdings plans to construct two gas-to-liquid facilities spanning 500 acres in Saline Township. Discussion of the project started about three years ago, but Orin first needed to find an isolated area before the ball could get rolling.

The property is located in the Yellow Creek area, stationed near Route 7 and the Norfolk Southern main rail line.

If constructed, the refineries would produce high quality diesel with each producing 5,000 barrels a day.

The facilities would be constructed one at a time and Orin founder, Donald Brown, says they are working to make them environmentally-friendly.

If all goes according to plan, these two facilities would be up in running in about 7 years providing a total of 500 new jobs.
