Firefighters in East Liverpool responded to a three-alarm fire early Sunday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the 100-block of Maine Avenue around 6:41 a.m.
According to a post on Facebook from the fire department, when the first crew arrived on scene smoke was seen coming from the second story of the building.
As soon as crews got into the building, they were met with heavy fire. Firefighters then called for a third-alarm, bringing even more firefighters to the scene.
The fire was able to be extinguished without anyone being hurt. Aid from the Red Cross was brought in for the occupants of the building.
The cause of the fire remains unclear at this time.
