A second case of coronavirus has been confirmed in West Virginia.
The person who tested positive lives in Mercer County, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
The second case coming just one day after the first case was confirmed in the Mountain state, the last in the country to receive a positive diagnosis.
Health officials told the media that the first case of coronavirus in the state was in the state’s eastern panhandle, in Jefferson County.
As of March 18, 148 residents have been tested for the coronavirus, with 143 negative results coming back and 3 pending.
