Police are asking for your help identifying an individual in a Steubenville shooting.

The department responded to the Harbor Freight in Steubenville on Sunday around 5 o’clock.

Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty says that the two subjects appear to get into a confrontation in the parking lot. It’s at that moment when one pulls out a gun and shoots the other in the chest.

McCaferty says that the victim, a 44-year-old man from Wellsville, was taken to a Pittsburgh-area hospital and is in stable condition.

But now police are asking for your help identifying the shooter. They say he drove away with a woman on a black motorcycle. Anyone with information should contact the Steubenville Police Department.

Police say a motive is unclear.
