The Belmont County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the vandalism of two vehicles in Glencoe.

Courtney Wright woke up Sunday morning to silver spray paint all over her 2010 GMC Yukon.

“I was just shocked, speechless for a second,” she said.

At first, she wasn’t quite sure what was on her SUV.

“I thought it was the sun shining, and when I literally looked, you could tell it was all spray paint.”

She says she also found paint inside her SUV’s gas tank. Her colleague’s 2008 Acura was also covered in spray paint.

“Not really sure why, don’t know if it was a bunch of kids messing around.”

Wright lives on Main Street in Glencoe and no cameras are nearby.

She filed a report with the sheriff’s office. Deputies arrived on scene Sunday around 8:45 a.m. to investigate and take pictures. The report says the vandalism took place sometime between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday into Sunday.

Now, Wright is waiting to hear back from her insurance company.

“I’m not sure what’s going to happen. I hope they do something because I don’t have a car now,” she said.
