The fall semester is on the minds of students, parents, educators and school officials in Brooke County.

At Monday’s board of education meeting, a major topic of discussion was the upcoming school year. Brooke County Schools continue to develop a plan through its re-entry task force.

“We are developing a plan for a full return to school, as well as a plan for full remote should that become necessary and some other options that we may need to put into place,” said Stephanie Blundon, a task force member.

“As you know things change. So, we are doing all we can to make sure we are focusing on the safety from students and staff.”

The next task force meeting is Tuesday and plans for the fall could continue to change.
