Three workers injured in ‘incident’ at Marshall Co. chemical plant

Workers at a Marshall County chemical plant suffered injuries during an “incident” at the plant.

Marshall County Emergency officials say that three workers at the Westlake Chemical Plant on Energy Highway (Route 2) received injuries.

One employee was taken to the hospital as a result of the incident.

Authorities say that plant produces chlorine.

Route 2 was closed for a portion of time, but it has since reopened.
