A man wanted by the U.S. Marshalls for multiple shootings in Ohio and Indiana has been named a suspect of interest in a deadly shooting in West Virginia.

According to authorities, Timothy Sargent is the suspect of a shooting in Milton, West Virginia.

Police say Sargent allegedly shot at a homeless encampment on Monday in Cleveland and also allegedly shot and killed a woman in Akron on Tuesday.

The U.S. Marshalls said he is a suspect in the Milton murder and is also wanted for questioning in another shooting on Wednesday in Indiana.

The Barnesville Police Department is asking anyone with information on Timothy Sargent or Savannah Emich to call 911 or the Barnesville Police Department.

Police said on Facebook that a vehicle registered to Sargent was located in Barnesville in the same time frame that a vehicle was stolen from a senior citizens center the first week of August.

“The stolen vehicle was recently recovered in Indiana after being involved in a shooting incident there,” said the Barnesville Police Department on Facebook. “Timothy Sargent is now being considered a possible suspect in our vehicle theft as well as multiple recent shooting and homicide investigations in Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana.”

Authorities warn the public that the two may be traveling in a 2000 Chevy pickup with Indiana tags TK667LJB.

Sargent is considered to be armed and dangerous.
