Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine is expanding the group of people eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in Ohio.

Last week, it was announced that those 60 and older could receive the vaccine.

Phase 2B will begin Thursday and those eligible for the vaccine will now include those 50 and older, those with Type 2 diabetes and end-stage renal disease.

DeWine also announced the Department of Health is scheduling vaccine appointments through a central scheduling tool online.
