The St. Clairsville Public Library now has a computerized locker which allows you to pick up nd drop off books with ease.
And now, you can also get an at-home COVID-19 test kit.
Curbside pick-up is available thanks to $25,000 of CARES Act funding.
The new unit is located behind the library, along St. Patrick’s alley.
You’ll need a library card in order to use it. All you need to do is scan the barcode on your library card, allowing the door to open, and you can then take your books without ever stepping foot inside
The library also received at-home COVID-19 test kits from the state, which are available for curbside pick-up. They are limited on supply though, and library director Doug Walsh says they’ve given around 100 tests out in the first week.
Only Ohio residents who have access to a smart phone are eligible, since you need access to an app that will show the results of the test.
The library plans to order more test kits in the future.
