One person is behind bars after a meth lab was discovered in Deersville.

The investigation began when a tip was received by deputies that methamphetamine was being manufactured in the residence.

Drug task force agents were notified and, with assistance from the Deersville Volunteer Fire Department, a methamphetamine lab located in the home was dismantled and neutralized.

42-year-old Kyle Parrish was arrested. He will be facing the charge of Illegal Manufacture of Drugs a felony of the 3rd degree.

This investigation of persons involved is still ongoing.

The search of the residence took place without incident and suspected drugs, as well as methamphetamine laboratory supplies, were seized.
