Steubenville Street & Refuse Superintendent Bob Baird said changes are coming to garbage collection starting April 2nd.

Garbage pick-up will go to a four-day work schedule. All residents who have their garbage collected on Fridays will now have their garbage collected on Thursdays.

Friday will now be used for semi-annual specialized bulk pickup and other projects in which the Street Department might need a hand.

The auto loader trucks will be in full use and will join the rest of the refuse fleet.

The Friday bulk pickup schedule for each neighborhood and other special projects will soon be posted ay cityofsteubenville.us.
