The woman charged with being an “accomplice to murder” in the death of Marvin Brown appeared in court yesterday.

Meredith Broome’s bond was lowered from $1 million to $20,000, a point where she may soon be out of jail.

Authorities say this is all part of the plan, and no one is at risk.

Belmont County Prosecutor Dan Fry says he wants to present the case against all of the suspects in this murder at once.

She is implicated in the murder-for-hire plot of Marvin Brown, a former mayor of Powhatan Point and the owner of Powhatan Construction.

Both the prosecutor and authorities’ stress that no additional information will be released until their investigation is complete in the coming months.
