Steubenville police are investigating an armed robbery of the New China Garden on N. 4th Street on Sunday night.
Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty said shortly before midnight, somebody came to the back door, the person working there thought it was somebody that had just left, so he opened the door and there were two males with their faces covered — one holding a hand gun.
The employee told the police the two suspects were skinny and dressed in dark clothing.
Officials say the robbers took an unknown amount of money from the cash register before fleeing.
Officers collected information from the employee, and were able to gather some evidence from the restaurant.
