Moundsville Police Chief Tom Mitchell said a woman was arrested after a story concerning a child predator at the Loading Zone on 4th Street.
Amanda Ross was arrested for falsely reporting an emergency in Moundsville.
Police say video surveillance showed she was lying, and then an admission of guilt led to her arrest.
The luring incident that took place at the Dairy Queen on April 15 is still under investigation.
