A man who allegedly stole a car Wednesday in Martins Ferry was apprehended yesterday in Harrison County.
Christopher Johnson, 46, was arrested by Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies. He was wanted on charges including forgery and passing checks on a closed account.
Police used K-9 units and aircraft, along with Cadiz Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, to track Johnson. He was spotted hiding in the woods off of State Route 151 and County Road 51. A K-9 unit tracked and confronted Johnson and he was arrested without incident.
