A Mingo Junction man pleaded guilty yesterday to involuntary manslaughter bringing a murder case nearly to a close. Luke Cabbage, 19, was killed last September in Tuscarawas County. He was shot in the back and left in the yard of a Newcomerstown home.
Kyle Boyd, 23, pleaded guilty Tuesday to involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy.
The Tuscarawas County prosecutor is recommending he serve seven years in prison. Sentencing is set for July 6.
